Reliance Industries, Sona BLW Precision Forgings and Jio Financial Services to see some action today

Ircon International has received work order worth Rs 642.44 crore from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority

Reliance Industries has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 17,904 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 7,611 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.18% at Rs 1,34,829 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 1,37,833 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On consolidated basis, the company has reported 78.32% rise in net profit at Rs 26,994 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 15,138 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 9.82% at Rs 2,63,779 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 2,40,200 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Sona BLW Precision Forgings has signed a binding term sheet with Jinnaite Machinery Co. (JNT) to establish a joint venture (JV) company in China. The JV will manufacture and supply driveline systems and components to automotive OEMs in China and globally. The company will invest $12 million, while JNT will contribute $8 million in assets and business to the joint venture in the first phase. The JV is expected to commence operations in the second half of the current financial year, this development plays a key role in the company’s expansion into the Chinese EV market.

Jio Financial Services (JFSL) and Allianz Group (Allianz) through its wholly-owned subsidiary -- Allianz Europe B.V., have entered into a binding agreement to form a 50:50 domestic reinsurance joint venture to serve the dynamic and high-growth insurance market in India. The reinsurance partnership will bring together company’s deep local expertise and robust digital footprint with Allianz’s strong underwriting and global reinsurance capabilities. The JV will leverage Allianz’s existing Allianz Re and Allianz Commercial portfolios and activities in India. It will also benefit from Allianz’s global setup, including its pricing, risk selection and portfolio management expertise. Allianz Re has been reinsuring risk in India for over 25 years.

Ircon International has received work order from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for CA-233, Line-6, Package-2: Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Integration, Testing and Commissioning of Power Supply and Traction, E & M, Lifts & Escalators including 5 Years of Comprehensive Maintenance after 2 Years of Defect Liability Maintenance Period of Line 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli (EEH)) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA. The size of order is Rs 642.44 crore.

Patel Engineering has secured a contract valued at Rs 239.98 crore (inclusive of taxes) from NHPC for the works involving modification of diversion tunnel into tunnel spillway arrangement -- Civil & Hydro Mechanical works for Package 6 - TEESTA-V Power Station, Sikkim. The project is located in the South District of Sikkim and is scheduled to be completed within 18 months. Key components of the scope include construction of the tunnel spillway, gate operation chamber and shaft, precast bridge, access road, energy dissipation structures, dyke, environmental flow tunnel, and associated infrastructure. The company has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the same.

B. L. Kashyap and Sons (BLK) has secured an order worth Rs 157.26 crore (excluding GST) from Manyata Promoters. The company has received order for civil and structural works for the project- Embassy Manyata Business Park. The said order is to be executed in around 16 months.

Globe Civil Projects has received Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 193.13 crore for construction of the infrastructure facilities works/buildings including Academic building, residential buildings, campus development etc. in campus of Central University of Punjab at village of Ghudda in the district of Bathinda, Punjab on EPC Basis. The project is to be completed within 21 months. The scope of work includes construction of 400-seater Girls Hostel, construction of 600 Boys Hostel, construction of One Academic Block, construction of 100-seater international students’ hostel, construction of Vice Chancellors (VC) residence and external development works.
