Currency futures for August expiry trade stronger with 2.09% decrease in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 86.9825, stronger compared to its Wednesday’s close at 87.07. The rupee opened at 87.0400 and touched day’s high of 87.0400 and low of 86.93.
The August currency futures were trading at 86.9875 with a spread of 0.0100 and a volume of 50,097. The contract opened flat at its previous closing of 87.09. The open interest (OI) stood at 7,20,426 down by 2.09% compared to its previous close of 7,35,777.
