FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13184.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 13465.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 280.13 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2880.28 crore with gross sales of Rs 1602.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1278.22 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 334.93 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1008.20 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 64.91 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 49.85 crore against gross selling of Rs 54.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5.00 crore in hybrid segment.
