Astra Microwave Products rises as its JV bags order worth Rs 285.56 crore

Astra Microwave Products is currently trading at Rs. 1059.90, up by 17.00 points or 1.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 1042.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1079.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1079.60 and Rs. 1044.55 respectively. So far 13200 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1195.65 on 05-Jun-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 584.20 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1089.25 and Rs. 1035.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10085.06 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 6.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.02% and 72.45% respectively.
Astra Microwave Products’ joint venture (JV) company -- Astra Rafael Comsys, has secured order worth Rs 285.56 crore (including taxes) from Ministry of Defence for procurement of Communication Systems, with accessories, for Special Forces of Indian Air Force (IAF). The order is to be executed within 11 months.
Astra Microwave Products (AMPL) designs, develops and manufactures sub-systems for RF and microwave systems used in defense, space, meteorology and telecommunication.
