FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per November 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17002.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 13768.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3234.34 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1657.85 crore with gross sales of Rs 2568.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 910.84 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 14.10 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 224.97 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 671.77 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 39.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 20.48 crore in hybrid segment.
