Ceigall India rises on entering into SPA with REC Power Development
The cost of acquisition is Rs 1.88 crore
Ceigall India is currently trading at Rs. 273.65, up by 1.60 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 272.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 264.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 274.65 and Rs. 264.25 respectively. So far 11613 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 335.45 on 10-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 223.00 on 09-Dec-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 276.70 and Rs. 264.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4772.34 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 82.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.13% and 9.79% respectively.
Ceigall India has entered into Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with REC Power Development and Consultancy for acquiring 100% equity shares of Velgaon Power Transmission (VPTL). After this acquisition VPTL has become wholly owned subsidiary of Ceigall India. The cost of acquisition is Rs 1.88 crore.
Ceigall India is an infrastructure construction company with experience in undertaking specialized structural works such as elevated roads, flyovers, bridges, Railway over bridges (ROB), tunnels, highways, expressways and runways.
