FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15915.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 11518.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4397.25 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1184.47 crore with gross sales of Rs 1436.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 251.80 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 310.89 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 335.13 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 276.04 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 28.92 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.67 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 16.25 crore in hybrid segment.
