FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 25 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21253.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 18365.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2887.62 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2082.84 crore with gross sales of Rs 676.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1406.61 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 951.42 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 4.82 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 450.37 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 2421.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2383.95 crore in hybrid segment.
