Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Thursday due to tepid demand from local industrial buyers. But some falls were limited by supply crunch as major rubber-producing regions in Southeast Asia have largely concluded active tapping as plantations enter the seasonal off-season.
Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 218/kg to its previous closing of Rs 219/kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 213/kg to its previous closing of Rs 214/kg.
