Currency futures for March expiry trade weaker with 4.9% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 91.6750, weaker compared to its Thursday’s close at 91.6450. The rupee opened at 91.6450 and touched day’s high of 91.68 and low of 91.59.
The March currency futures were trading at 91.79 with a spread of 0.0050 and a volume of 2,31,313. The contract opened at 91.70 tad stronger from its previous closing of 91.7075. The open interest (OI) stood at 21,00,835 up by 4.9% compared to its previous close of 20,02,785.
