Bond yields trade higher on Wednesday

The yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 2 basis points higher at 6.69% from its previous close of 6.67% on Tuesday

Bond yields traded higher on Wednesday as ICRA in its report has said that there will be a downside risk to the India’s growth projection for FY2027 due to West Asia conflict. 

In the global market, 10-year Treasury yield was little changed on Tuesday as oil prices tumbled after President Donald Trump warned that Iran would be hit ‘Twenty Times Harder’ if it attempted to halt shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. 

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 2 basis points higher at 6.69% from its previous close of 6.67% on Tuesday.

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 5 basis points higher at 6.39% from its previous close of 6.34% on Tuesday.
