FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 11 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13946.00 crore against gross selling of Rs 19445.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5499.83 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 701.24 crore with gross sales of Rs 2997.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2296.07 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1249.13 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 5.90 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1041.04 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.47 crore against gross selling of Rs 45.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 27.09 crore in hybrid segment.
