FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10702.93 crore against gross selling of Rs 22002.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 11299.42 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 8066.09 crore with gross sales of Rs 2715.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5350.63 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 4373.14 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1673.22 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 695.73 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15.19 crore against gross selling of Rs 34.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 19.27 crore in hybrid segment.
