GAIL (India) gets nod to set up 600 MW solar project in Uttar Pradesh
The Board of Directors of the company, in its meeting held on April 13, 2026, has approved the same
GAIL (India) has received approval for setting-up of a 600 MW Greenfield Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh, along with 550 MWh co-located Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The total project cost is estimated at Rs 3,294.86 crore, including interest during construction (IDC), taxes, and various associated expenditure.
