Mahanagar Telephone Nigam informs about penalties by TRAI
In compliance of Regulation 30 & 51 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 and in terms of sub-para 20 of para A of Part A of Schedule III, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam has informed that the company has received order dated April 13, 2026 from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for payment of financial disincentive amounting to Rs 8.00 lakhs for contravention of the provisions of Standards of Quality of Service of Access (Wireline and Wireless) and Broadband (Wireline and Wireless) Service Regulations, 2024 (06 of 2024) for Access Service (Wireless) for the Quarter ending September 2025. The order was received by CS Section MTNL on 15.04.2026.
