GMR Airports falls after reporting marginal decline in passenger traffic in March

Aircraft movements declined 1.3% year-on-year to 64,832 in March 2026

GMR Airports is currently trading at Rs. 97.16, down by 2.08 points or 2.10 % from its previous closing of Rs. 99.24 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 99.07 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 99.80 and Rs. 96.90 respectively. So far 391766 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 110.30 on 02-Dec-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 79.28 on 13-Jun-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 100.00 and Rs. 91.63 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 102707.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.24 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.55 % and 10.21 % respectively.

GMR Airports has reported a marginal year-on-year (Y-o-Y) decrease of 1.5% in passenger traffic to 10,408,735 in March 2026. Delhi Airport handled 7,001,938 passengers, marking a 0.2% Y-o-Y decrease, while Hyderabad Airport recorded 2,288,515 passengers, reflecting a 12% Y-o-Y decline. Goa’s MOPA Airport registered 4,70,313 passengers, showing a strong 9.5% Y-o-Y growth during the month. Meanwhile, Medan (Indonesia) Airport handled 6,47,969 passengers in March 2026.

For March 2026, aircraft movements reported de-growth 1.3% Y-o-Y to 64,832. Of the total, Delhi Airport witnessed 41,257 aircraft movements in March, while Hyderabad saw 15,737 aircraft movements. Goa's MOPA reported 3,169 aircraft movements in March 2025. Medan (Indonesia) Airport witnessed 4,669 aircraft movement in March.
