Sigma Advanced Systems, Premier Energies and Wipro to see some action today

Alembic Pharmaceuticals has received final approval from the USFDA for its ANDA Fingolimod Capsules, 0.5 mg

Sigma Advanced Systems has signed a seven-year long-term agreement with Rolls-Royce, marking a steady step forward in its global aerospace journey. The agreement represents a deepening strategic relationship with one of the world’s largest and most respected aerospace OEMs, placing the company at the heart of critical global engineering programs. The contract is valued at nearly £300 million (i.e., roughly Rs 3800 crore), providing the company with a long-term revenue stream and stronger visibility over future growth.  

Premier Energies has launched India’s first All-Black G12R DCR Solar Module--the NeoBlack Series at RenewX Chennai, marking a significant step in redefining rooftop solar for residential and commercial segments through design-led innovation. The newly introduced all-black module, ranging from 600 Wp to 630 Wp, combines next-generation TOPCon cell technology with a seamless, uniform black aesthetic, addressing one of the key barriers to rooftop solar adoption: visual integration with modern architecture.

Wipro has entered into strategic partnership with Kongsberg Digital, a global leader in advanced engineering and industrial digitalization, to jointly deploy next generation AI powered Digital Twin solutions for the Energy & Utilities Sector. The collaboration brings together Wipro’s consulting-led approach and its AI-powered Wipro Intelligence solutions – Industrial-AssetsAI and UpstreamAI – with Kongsberg Digital’s Industrial Work Surface solution. Together, Wipro and Kongsberg Digital will enable more reliable, efficient, and safer operations across complex asset networks. 

Alembic Pharmaceuticals has received final approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Fingolimod Capsules, 0.5 mg. The approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD), Gilenya Capsules, 0.5 mg of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Novartis). Fingolimod is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease in patients 10 years of age and older. 

Kothari Industrial Corporation and Chennai-based deep tech startup Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions, which specializes in Construction 3D Printing, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore construction 3D printing opportunities with initial focus on Australia’s residential housing construction market, marking a significant milestone in India's technology export capabilities and international construction partnerships. The collaboration comes at a critical juncture as Australia faces a severe housing shortage and affordability crisis and major cities ranking among the least affordable globally.

Zydus Lifesciences has received permission from the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) to conduct two Phase III clinical trials of Zintrodiazine in patients with uncomplicated malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum (P. falciparum) and uncomplicated Plasmodium vivax malaria in India. The first Phase III and second Phase III trials will be multi-centre, randomised, assessor-blind, active-comparator studies to determine the efficacy, safety and tolerability of orally administered Zintrodiazine in patients with uncomplicated malaria due to P. falciparum and uncomplicated P. vivax malaria.

Indian Hume Pipe Company has received Letter of Intent (LoI) with order value of Rs 417.97 crore (excluding GST) from Jihe Kathapur Lift Irrigation Division, Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation (MKVDC), Satara, Maharashtra for the work of Construction of Head works and closed pipe distribution System of Ner Direct Gravity main, under Guruvarya late Laxmanraoji Inamdar Lift Irrigation scheme, Maharashtra. The order is expected to be completed in 48 months.
