In Further to its letter dated 12th March 2026 regarding the Notice of Put Option issued by the Debenture Trustee, Vardhman Trusteeship, Star Housing Finance has informed that under the terms of the Put Option notice, payment is required to be made within 45 days of issuance in respect of the listed, rated, senior, secured, transferable, redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (‘NCDs’) issued under ISIN: INE526R07017. Accordingly, the due date for payment under the Put Option falls on 27th April 2026 (since 25th April 2026 is a holiday). The Company has requested the Debenture Trustee to grant an extension of fourteen working days to complete the payment, as the Company is in the process of infusing liquidity through the onboarding of a prospective new investor. The Debenture Trustee has sought the consent of the Debenture Holders for this extension and awaiting response from the relevant Debenture Holders. Additionally, as per the letter dated 27th April 2026 received from Vardhman Trusteeship, Debenture Trustee of the Company, a meeting of the Debenture Holders of the company is scheduled to be held on Friday, 22nd May 2026. The notice further states that in case the default is cured between the date of notice and the date of proposed meeting, then the convening of such a meeting shall stand cancelled.
