Currency futures for July expiry trade weaker with 0.19% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 85.7675, weaker compared to its Friday’s close at 85.40. The rupee opened at 85.53 and touched day’s high of 85.7750 and low of 85.51.
The July currency futures were trading at 85.8375 with a spread of 0.0050 and a volume of 82,556. The contract opened at 85.55 weaker from its previous closing of 85.47. The open interest (OI) stood at 10,65,820 up by 0.19% compared to its previous close of 10,63,809.
