FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 11 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18513.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 15687.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2826.16 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 897.14 crore with gross sales of Rs 429.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 467.94 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 81.25 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 38.06 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 348.63 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 35.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 37.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.43 crore in hybrid segment.
