Pursuant to Regulation 30 of Listing Regulations read with the relevant SEBI Circulars issued in this regard, Hindustan Zinc has informed that the Company via email from NSE on December 12, 2025 at 10:48 am IST, has received the ESG Rating Rationale Report for FY 2024-25 from NSE Sustainability Ratings and Analytics (‘NSE Sustainability’), a subsidiary of NSE Indices and a SEBI-registered ESG Rating Provider (ERP). As part of its evaluation of listed 500 companies in India and its analysis derived from publicly available information disclosed by the Company, NSE Sustainability, has assessed the consolidated ESG rating of 67 for FY 2024-25. The company has informed that it has not engaged NSE Sustainability for the evaluation or issuance of its ESG Ratings and the report prepared by NSE has been developed independently. The methodology employed for these ratings is included in the Rating Rationale Report and is also made available on NSE’s website at https://www.nse-esgrating.com/esg-ratings.
