SML Mahindra declines even after reporting 17% jump in February sales
The company's passenger vehicles sales stood at 1017 units in February 2026, up by 24% Y-o-Y
SML Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 4556.90, down by 226.45 points or 4.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 4783.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4544.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4803.10 and Rs. 4544.20 respectively. So far 6304 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5341.30 on 19-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1030.90 on 28-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5164.20 and Rs. 4544.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6583.37 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.25% and 39.78% respectively.
SML Mahindra has sold 1503 vehicles in February 2026 as against 1288 vehicles in February 2025, showing growth of 17% year-on-year (Y-o-Y). Segment-wise, the company's passenger vehicles sales stood at 1017 units in February 2026, up by 24% Y-o-Y, while cargo vehicles sales were at 486 units, up 4% Y-o-Y.
