Vedanta inches up on raising Rs 2,575 crore through NCDs

The NCDs have face value of Rs 1,00,000 each

Vedanta is currently trading at Rs. 689.40, up by 0.25 points or 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 689.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 686.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 697.45 and Rs. 677.30 respectively. So far 430390 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 770.00 on 29-Jan-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 362.20 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 743.60 and Rs. 677.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 268585.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.38%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.40% and 16.21% respectively.

Vedanta has raised Rs 2,575 crore through allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The duly authorized Committee of Directors of the company has approved the allotment of 2,57,500 Indian Rupees (INR) Denominated Unsecured, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, NCDs of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each.

Earlier, the duly authorized Committee of Directors at its meeting held on February 25, 2026, had approved the issuance of Unsecured, Rated, Listed, Redeemable, NCDs on a private placement basis aggregating upto Rs 3,000 crore.
