FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12824.84 crore against gross selling of Rs 23652.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10827.45 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1490.46 crore with gross sales of Rs 3054.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1564.44 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 64.10 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 134.48 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1494.06 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22.31 crore against gross selling of Rs 45.86 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 23.55 crore in hybrid segment.
