Astra Microwave Products surges as its JV bags order worth Rs 250.58 crore

The said order is to be executed within 18 months

Astra Microwave Products is currently trading at Rs. 910.00, up by 13.15 points or 1.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 896.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 897.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 920.90 and Rs. 878.90 respectively. So far 30690 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52-week high of Rs. 1195.65 on 05-Jun-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs. 629.45 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 923.85 and Rs. 835.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8635.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 6.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.03% and 72.44% respectively.

Astra Microwave Products’ joint venture company (JV) -- Astra Rafael Comsys has bagged Rs 250.58 crore (including taxes) worth of order on April 01, 2026 from Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) for supply of Software Defined Radio (SDR) for HAL, Bangalore. The said order is to be executed within 18 months. 

Astra Microwave Products (AMPL) designs, develops and manufactures sub-systems for RF and microwave systems used in defense, space, meteorology and telecommunication.
