GICL launches first phase of AI-Driven Smart Procurement & Vehicle Placement Interface

The company’s AI-driven approach aims to reduce dependency on manual calling cycles, improve transporter response, enable faster and data-driven vehicle allocation

Globe International Carriers has launched the First phase of its proprietary AI-Driven Smart Procurement & Vehicle Placement Interface. The company, operating a PAN-India logistics network focused on Full Truck Load (FTL) aggregation, is transitioning its vehicle procurement process from a manual, call-based model to an automated AI-enabled chatbot ecosystem. This solution integrates with the company’s transporter database through a WhatsApp-based API, enabling simultaneous communication with multiple verified transporters per load requirement, thereby improving response time and availability.

The company’s AI-driven approach aims to reduce dependency on manual calling cycles, improve transporter response, enable faster and data-driven vehicle allocation. Initial pilot results indicate 10 to 15% improvement in vehicle placement time, particularly for repeat routes and existing transporter networks. On cost optimization front, early trends suggest a 2 to 3% improvement in freight rate optimization, due to competitive real-time quotation comparisons. Further, based on current pilot performance, the company anticipates a 10 to 15% improvement in monthly revenue in upcoming time, subject to successful scaling across key routes and hubs. The initiative aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of adopting a technology-driven logistics platform to enhance operational efficiency, improve margins, and create sustainable shareholder value.
