Western Carriers (India) (WCIL) has secured a work order valued at approximately Rs 558 crore from Jindal Stainless (JSL). The three-year contract involves the dispatch of Slabs, Coils, and Sheet Plates in DSO Containers to multiple destinations across pan-India. This engagement further strengthens the longstanding relationship between WCIL and JSL and showcases WCIL’s capability to deliver comprehensive and dependable logistics services for the manufacturing and metals sector.
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed new property Lemon Tree Premier, Surat, Gujarat. The property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Lemon Tree Premier, Surat, Gujarat, will feature 108 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet, a meeting room, a swimming pool, a gym, a spa and other public areas.
Tata Steel has on June 25, 2025, acquired 179,10,44,776 equity shares of face value $0.1005 each aggregating to $180 million (Rs 1,562.54 crore) in T Steel Holdings (TSHP). Post this acquisition, TSHP will continue to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Wheels India has received approval for acquisition of 7,64,533 equity shares of Axles India from Forge 2000 at a total consideration of Rs 22.68 crore. The proposed transaction is likely to be completed before August 31, 2025. The company currently holds 9.51% of the share capital of Axles India and with this acquisition, the shareholding percentage increase will from 9.51% to 12.51%. The board of directors in its meeting held on June 25, 2025 have approved the same.

ACME Solar Holdings has emerged as the winning bidder for NHPC’s tender for cumulative capacity of 275 MW / 550 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Andhra Pradesh across two projects at Kuppam and Ghani. The company’s winning bid for Kuppam project was at a tariff of Rs 210,000 per MW per month with a capacity of 50 MW / 100 MWh. Its winning bid for Ghani project was at a tariff of Rs 222,000 per MW per month with a capacity of 225 MW / 450 MWh.
