Saregama acquires Haryanvi Music Catalogue to strengthen regional portfolio

Saregama India has acquired the popular Haryanvi music catalogue of NAV Records to strengthen its regional portfolio. This move will see company acquiring NAV’s 6,500 tracks across Haryanvi, Punjabi, Ghazals, Devotional and Indie Pop. The acquisition also includes super popular Youtube channels like NAV Haryanvi, Nupur Audio etc having over 24M subscriber base, further boosting company’s digital footprint.

This cements company’s No.1 position in the only language where the company was not dominant. Going forward, the company and NAV will jointly work towards new Haryanvi and Punjabi content creation. The company is committed to building IP across genres and languages for sustained growth and value creation. 

Saregama India engaged in manufacturing, selling and dealing of gramophone records, radio receivers, radiograms, record players, record producers, pick-up cartridges, components and accessories thereof and other allied products.
