Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works surges on securing order worth Rs 7.25 crore

The work order is to be executed over a period 4 months excluding monsoon period

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works is currently trading at Rs. 1929.25, up by 60.20 points or 3.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 1869.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1868.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1982.25 and Rs. 1857.25 respectively. So far 4190 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2483.05 on 05-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1265.00 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2111.00 and Rs. 1652.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2083.78 crore.

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works (KMEW) has been awarded a work order worth Rs 7.25 crore (including taxes) by Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) for the grab dredging at different locations in the port dock areas of Paradip Port. The work order is to be executed over a period 4 months excluding monsoon period. 

The scope of work order includes grab dredging at different locations of Paradip Port with the tendered quantity of 64,358 Cu. M. and variation of up to 20%. With this current order the company demonstrates its expertise and reliability in dredging operations and marine industry. KMEW will deploy its existing vessel River Pearl 2 ‘Grab Hopper Dredger’ for the project which is at Paradip Port and commence the work immediately.

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works is engaged in the business of owning and operating of Marine Crafts for dredging along with repairs and maintenance/refits of Marine Crafts and Marine Infrastructure.
