Avantel surges on bagging purchase order worth Rs 122.58 crore

The said order is expected to be completed by August 2027

Avantel is currently trading at Rs. 156.50, up by 5.95 points or 3.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 150.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 151.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 161.90 and Rs. 149.20 respectively. So far 221863 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 215.00 on 10-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 90.30 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 161.90 and Rs. 144.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4176.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.60% and 62.32% respectively.

Avantel has received a purchase order from NewSpace India for Supply of S/X-band with Ka-band ready full motion Antennas. Broad consideration or size of the order(s)/contract(s) is worth of Rs 122.58 crore (Excl. Taxes). The said order is expected to be completed by August 2027. 

Avantel is actively involved in design and development of products based on High Power Broad band Wireless, Satellite Communication and Broad band access technologies.
