Maithan Alloys to shut down production at Byrnihat Unit

Maithan Alloys is set to fully shut down its production at its Byrnihat Unit (in the State of Meghalaya) from August 31, 2025 onwards for indefinite period due to adverse market conditions and steep increase in power cost in the State of Meghalaya.
Maithan Alloys engages in the manufacture and trading of ferro alloys in India and internationally. It also involves in the generation and supply of wind power.
