FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18476.09 crore against gross selling of Rs 14964.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3511.64 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1770.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 1321.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 448.91 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 428.90 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 681.85 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 661.84 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 36.09 crore against gross selling of Rs 1048.21 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1012.12 crore in hybrid segment.
