FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 29 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3676.21 crore against gross selling of Rs 5348.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1672.33 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 512.04 crore with gross sales of Rs 674.89 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 162.85 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 333.28 crore, they stood as net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 52.44 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 117.99 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 23.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 29.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6.31 crore in hybrid segment.
